DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

DALE HEAD ROAD, BRANDSIDE, BUXTON

WHEN: 25 July 2016 to 05 August 2016

Between 0900hrs and 1600hrs each day

WHERE: Close Dale Head Road, Brandside, Buxton from its junction with the A53 for a distance of 1.4 kilometres in a south easterly direction.

REASON: To facilitate patching prior to surface dressing.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Will be via A53 – Grinlow Road – Burlow Road – B5053 – Un-Named Road and Vice Versa.

Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.

Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire 01629 533190.

The County Council intends to make/has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.

NHS Consultation – Please tell your Parish Councillor if you have views on this subject

For information, the NHS in North Derbyshire has launched proposals for better care closer to home for more older people.  A link to the press release and consultation documents is below.  The consultation began on 29 June and runs until 12 pm on 5 October.

Public Rights period for Inspection of Accounts is 21st June until 3rd August

Parish Councils are required by law to provide any member of the public with full access to all accounts, also Parish Council documents in support of the accounts, for 30 Consecutive Working Days in June, July and August each year.

The Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer is pleased to make the announcement that Hartington Upper Quarter Accounts are available for inspection at Brandside Parish Hall from 21st June until 3rd August.

WHERE: Close Un-Named Road, Axe Edge Moor, Buxton from its junction with the A53 to its junction with the A54; Dale Head Road, Brandside from its junction with the A53 to the County Boundary; Un-Named Road, Sparrowpit from its junction with the A623 to its junction with Peaslows Lane; Peaslows Lane, Chapel-en-le-Frith from its junction with Blackbrook Lane to its junction with the A623; Blackbrook Lane, Chapel-en-le-Frith from its junction with Sheffield Road to its junction with Peaslows Lane; Eccles Road, Chapel-en-le-Frith from its junction with Crossings Road to its junction with Market Place and Midland Road, Chapel-en-le-Frith from its junction with the B5470 Manchester Road to its junction with Eccles Road.
